Political Lobbying and designing campaign strategies

He can help on how to devise campaign strategies and how to approach both local and central Government. He is actively working with a number of companies/trade bodies mainly on technology and energy issues.

Brian was MP for North East Milton Keynes from 1997 till 2005 having enjoyed a varied career including being a former civil servant at HM Customs & Excise, and working abroad.

He sat on the Public Administration and Regulatory Reform Select Committees and has been a long time advocate of change to the way this country implements regulation. He successfully altered the terms of reference for both OFCOM and OFGEM and piloted the Sustainable Energy Act 2003 through Parliament and is now helping companies negotiate regulatory barriers.

He has recently been lobbying to support two Private Members Bills –

CLIMATE CHANGE AND SUSTAINABLE ENERGY Bill and
MANAGEMENT OF ENERGY IN BUILDINGS Bill

He is seeking to effect changes in regulations governing the use of microgeneration technologies and he is also a strong advocate for Combined Heat and Power Systems.
